Recently, the staff of the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry together with students visited the Almazar district school No. 249 to conduct a master class on personal oral hygiene. This event was an important step in promoting dental culture among children and forming healthy habits in them.
The main purpose of our visit was to teach children the basics of proper oral care. We tried to convey to the students the importance of regular hygiene, prevention of dental diseases and the right choice of dental care products.
From the very first minutes of the lesson, we noticed the high interest and active participation of children. We started with the introductory part, where we discussed the structure of teeth and their functions, as well as the main causes of caries and gum disease.
The children asked a lot of questions and shared their knowledge about teeth, which created a warm and friendly atmosphere.
One of the key parts of our lesson was a practical demonstration of the correct dental cleaning technique. We used models for visual illustration, and every child was able to try their hand at brushing their teeth under our guidance. We also showed you how to use dental floss and other hygiene products correctly.
At the end of the master class, we held a question and answer session where students could clarify their points of interest. Memos with recommendations on dental care and useful tips on maintaining oral health were distributed to each participant.
This event has become not only educational, but also inspiring for children.
We hope that the knowledge gained will help them develop good habits and take care of their health. We thank School 249 for the warm welcome and the opportunity to conduct this workshop
We look forward to meeting again!
